With the border now open, we are looking to poke our head up out of the bunker with a hosted small group tour of 10 days to South Australia - food, wine, magic scenery, good company, safe practices and support for the local operators.
Fly from your capital city to Adelaide and settle in for a few days, exploring the city and its landmark surrounds, before venturing further afield:
2 days exploring the beautiful City of Churches
1-day tour to the famous surrounding Adelaide Hills and its top-notch providores
1-day tour to the Barossa Valley
4-day visit to Kangaroo Island, with a smashing seafood lunch, beachside on the Fleurieu Peninsular along the way
2 half-days exploring McLaren Vale on the way back to Adelaide
This tour is dependent on interest, availability and flights – those first few economy seats from Sydney to Adelaide last week were selling at over $500 a pop one way. Ouch!
A host will accompany the group to help ensure you get the most out of the tour. For expert local knowledge, we’ll engage local area guides to ensure we get the lowdown.
Hosting and guiding …
All hotels are 3-4 star, well located, air-conditioned with free wifi typically in the room but in more remote parts, at least in common areas.
Breakfast is included daily, along with dinner or lunch on most days. A few evenings are left free to explore local dining options..
Accommodation and meals …
The group will primarily travel by private coach with more seats than passengers.
Domestic flights included.
